Philips Exposes Aurea II LCD HDTV

Philips released a new LCD HDTV by a long code name of 42PFL9903D. This new LCD TV is actually the second version of its Aurea LCD which was release months ago. And at 42-inches, this TV deserves more than a second look.

Philips improved a lot of things in the new LCD TV. The TV carries 1080 dpi which is a lot higher than many modern LCD HDTV. The TV also uses Philip’s latest high definition engine technology – Perfect Pixel HD Engine. The Perfect Pixel HD Engine allows users to see a virtually perfect display. Without this technology, fast moving images such as fast explosion, speed running, falling objects, glass shattering and other vivid and fast moving subjects will not be rendered without pixilation.

Aside form the HD engine, 42PFL9903D also showcases a 30,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, making images and video in different light aspect very clear.
Philips Aurea II HDTV is tagged at £2,499 or $3,967.
