Pentax Unveils K2000 DSLR Camera

Pentax showcased their newest gadget, the K2000 DSLR camera that is made for amateur photographers who want to try serious photography. The Pentax K2000 has the basic DSLR configuration it has the Pentax DA L 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AL lens and the Pentax AF200FG Auto Flash.

According to the company, the new camera wants to aid photographers who want shift from point-and-shoot digital camera to a real professional-grade camera.

Aside from sporting a 10.2 megapixel CCD lens and a 2.7-inch QVGA screen, K2000 also has a unique and compact design that makes it easy to use for first time DSLR handlers. IT also carries the Pentax Dust Removal system, allowing users to take care of the camera as easy as clicking the shutter button. The camera also has the Shake Reduction technology present in other Pentax K series cameras.

The DSLR has a fresh Auto Picture Mode. Thru this, photographers can choose from Portrait, Landscape, Macro, Action and Night Portrait modes at a single touch.

Furthermore, the Pentax K2000 offers a new Auto Picture Mode, which selects from Portrait, Landscape, Macro, Action and Night Portrait modes to tailor the camera settings for beginners. The camera also comes with an integrated help support where it explains the current settings of the camera as it guides the user of the interface and general DSLR photography.

This camera will be available in November and will be sold for $700.
