Nikon Introduces New Wi-Fi Digicam

Nikon released a new Wi-Fi digital camera recently. Nikon Coolpix S610C is the latest of the manufacturer’s line of wi-fi enabled point-and-shoot digital cameras.
Through its wi-fi capability, users of the S610C can easily upload or e-mail their photos straight from the camera’s memory. They can also connect to Wayport hotspots for internet access. Nikon’s “my Picturetown” online photo sharing and storage service is also available to them at a push of a button.
Nikon Coolpix S610C is a 10-megapixel camera that has a 4x Zoom-NIKKOR wide-angle lens. It also has the Optical VR Image Stabilization technology and a couple of automated modes. It has an Active Child Mode that can track speedy movements of subjects, allowing you to focus on moving subjects that later result into clearer image. It also sports the Smile Mode, which can be set to automatically take photos when a subject smiles, and Food Mode, which is perfect for food and drink subjects. Nikon Coolpix S610C also boasts Scene Auto Selector Mode and Close-up, Portrait, Landscape, Backlight, Night Portrait, and Night Landscape camera options.
Nikon Coolpix S610C also holds the record for the fastest start-up time for a digital camera with 28mm zoom lens. It has a boot-up time of 0.7 seconds.
Purchase of the Nikon Coolpix S610C comes with the COOLPIX Software suite for general photo editing. It will be available in the market this coming September for a price of $279.95.
