MSI Releases Wind NetTop D130

MSI revealed its first dual-core mini workstration, the Wind NetTop D130. This computer is powered by latest Intel Atom 330 dual-core CPU and 2GB DDR2 memory, meaning it is raw power packed in a small box.

MSI’s wind computer series uses less electricity compared to other units, and this new member of the family is no different. The design and parts of the computer can save you as much as 90% on electric consumption.

At full speed, the Wind NetTop D130 uses only 35W of power, that is only 10% of what other units with similar capacity (or even lesser) consume. Other computers uses between 250W to 300W power like ATX chassis.

Wind NetTop D130 has a built-in Super-Multi DVD burner and 7.1-channel surround sound output, making it a decent entertainment computer system.

It also sports what MSI termed as “Nordic Simple Style,” a style that is based on a trendy home furnishing and texture.

Pricing and market availability is still not announced, but analysts predict the price to be at around $240.
