Magnachip Uncovers N-P Channel MOSFET Series for LCD Screens

A huge manufacturer of analog and mixed signal semiconductor products for high volume consumer applications, MaganChip Seminconductor Ltd recently uncovered their new power efficient MOSFET series. This new technology can be used in backlight units of LCD TVs and LCD monitors, making these peripherals far better than how they are today.

The N-P Multi-Chip MOSFET targets the LCD TV and LCD monitor inverters. The new LCD booster chips boasts DPAK and SOIC-8, combining the two channels into a single piece of hardware.

LCD manufacturers will now be able to produce advanced monitors for a cheaper cost. The MOSFET series can also be used as backlight units for LCD TVs, LCD monitors as well as motor drivers and lamp drivers due to its lead and halogen-free nature.

MagnaChip Seminconductor CEO and Chairman, Sang Park exclaimed that they are thrilled to bring this series to the marketplace. The launch, as Park believe will allow for rapid expansion of power solutions market.
