KDDI Au unveiled a lot of reasons to be high tech and funky this coming spring. The KDDI Au Spring 2009 collection sports mobile devices that will make electronic rainbows really shy.
Red, blue, pink, violet, yellow – you name it, the collection has it. The collection includes units from Sony Ericsson, Sony, Toshiba, Casio, Sharp, Panasonic, Kyocera and Pantech.
The collection sports OLED displays, 8-plus megapixel cameras, one-seg TV, 3D display, and just about every wireless connectivity option you can dream up.
Sony Ericsson Walkman Premier3 flips two ways and sports a 854×480 3″ display. It can rip CDs directly from CD players via remote – though we’re not sure what music companies say about this.
Hitachi H001 Woo is a 3D handset. It is also a mobile TV with 30fps and a 3.1 inch display, two-way flip, 5 megapixel camera, and a collection of multimedia applications.
Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot S001 is the latest Cybershot unit. This one excels in playing video displayed on a 3.1 inch OLED screen. It has 8.1 megapixel lens for your camwhoring. It has the basic SE features like face detection and smile shutter.
Toshiba T001 is a Swarovski-embedded phone.
Casio CA001 is a touchscreen phone that has screen instrument playing game.
Sharp SH001 sports 8-MP camera and is available in Cool White, Blue Sapphire, or Pink Topaz housing.
Panasonic P001 is dubbed as the Quad-Face system. It has huge screen, 3.2 MP camera and red, black, and white versions.
Kyocera K001 is very basic at 2.8-inch display and 2 megapixel shooter. Kyocera NS01 is a bit similar to the K001 except for the 100MB internal storage.
Last on the list is the Pantech NS02 with 100MB of storage, and a 2.7-inch QVGA display.
