Digi Comes Out With Spectrum Design’s Fixed Price Wireless Design Services

Spectrum Design of Digi International has been announced that its wireless design services have been enhanced with a fixed price package. One of Digi International’s susbsidiary is Spectrum Design which offers comprehensive hardware and software wireless design services.

Coming with the package are tailor-fitted products and wireless strategy consulting. OEMs are now able to add wireless capabilities to all products effortlessly, whether the products are new or old. What is great is that fixed prices are offered on services so that customers can have an easier and faster time in working with the wireless experts of Spectrum Design.

Spectrum Design clients such as Franco Chirico believes that the company truly understands the industry and their clients’ needs, wants and goals. Because of customer care, a fine equilibrium between performance and quality while preserving their competitive edge in keeping prices down.

Joel Young, Digi International’s CTO and Senior Vice President of Research and Development positively said that Digi International prioritizes clients like creating a wireless strategy and product design optimization. Services also come at a fixed price and ordering for services is just as fast as ordering hardware.

The described wireless strategy that is uniquely Digi International aids clients in putting in wireless features to their harware. Some of the services offered by Spectrum Design would be the development of custom device driver, Python application for products with Drop-in Networking and customized antenna design. They can also design customized interfaces for the exceptional Flexible Interface Modules (FIMs) that go with the microprocessors like Digi Connect ME(R) 9210, ConnectCore (TM) WI-9P 9215 modules, ConnectCore (TM) 9P 0215, NS9210 and NS9215 NET+ARM.

The services offered by Spectrum Design can also be part of the latest iDigi Wireless M2M solution packages. Of course, the iDigi platform, Platform as a Service or PaaS, is the expertise of iDigi where it enables the applications of a client to be connected fast and conveniently to remote assets. Devices can be connected to iDigi platform, the wireless connectivity and the prototyping services.

The wireless strategy reviews are being offered by Spectrum Design at $10,000 while hardware design reviews are at $5,000. As for the JumpStart prototypes that come with 3 production-ready prototype boards that have complete design files, they come as Digi JumpStart Kits (R) that sell at $30,000.
