Canon revealed a new 24-inch printer that targets professional photographers, designers, print-for-pay businesses and other printing industries. The imagePROGRAF iPF6000S is a large format printer. The imagePROGRAF iPF6000S is actually a part of Canon’s S-series line of printers. The S-series printers are among the company’s top of the line printer devices that prints quality at a fast rate. Compare to previous models, the imagePROGRAF iPF6000S works 30% faster. It can print fast images without sacrificing quality and accuracy.
Canon’s newest printer has the “Economy Color Mode” function, a feature that allows the printer to use less ink without reducing the quality of output. The printer makes this possible by employing a unique technology of color density manipulation.
Jim Rosetta, vice president and general manager, Imaging Systems Group, Canon U.S. boasted that the printer is Canon’s answer to the demands of print professionals who clamor for highest levels of quality at increased production speeds. “The imagePROGRAF S-Series, including the new iPF6000S, further extends our ability to offer clients and consumers an effective, top-tier solution to meet all their printing needs,” the general manager added.
The imagePROGRAF iPF6000S is priced at $3,295.
