Bel Canto Releases USB Link 24/96 to USB Audio Converter
- 0 Comments
Bel Canto released a new USB link 24/6 that allows conversion of high quality USB audio into S/PDIF.
The company claims that it flawlessly converts the media without so much or almost no regeneration loss. The converter translates audio file up to up to 24-bits and 96kHz, a quality that inarguably is more than decent.
The device uses a standard 75-ohm BNC cable. It runs on Windows XP and Vista as well as Mac OS X. Purchase of the device comes in with a Stereovox XV2 BNC / BNC S/PDIF cable with RCA adapter.
The only negative thing about the converter, based on tech bloggers point of view is its price. It currently cost $495, a price that a few sees too much for a USB device.
