Alienware Releases First Cheap Gaming Desktop
- 0 Comments
Okay not really cheap in you compare it to other standard gaming desktops, but in terms of Alienware’s standards, this one is already cheap. This is the new Alienware Area-51 750i gaming desktop that tips the scale for slightly more than a thousand dollar.
The new Area-51 750i gaming desktop sports the signature CPU case that Alienware is famous for. But unlike its high-end desktops, this one has some rather “earthly” specs. As it is a gaming PC, it has NVIDIA nForce 750i SLI motherboard that is comparable with a Core 2 Extreme QX9650, twin ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 graphics cards. You also have the option to use GeForce GTX 280s. The 8GB DDR2 RAM might be alien-like already, but we all know Alienware can give more. It runs on Windows Vista 64-bit and has an optional Blu-ray burner.
The gaming desktop is tagged at $1,049.
