Albatron 22-inch Multi-touch LCD to be Released in March

Almost everybody knows that Windows 7 which is now in public beta will support multi-touch displays. And as such, it is no wonder why manufacturers would start developing advanced devices that the new operating system can easily handle. One of these manufactures is Albatron.

Albatron exposed that their prototype panel with multi-touch feature will be available this coming March. The panel was first showcased seven months ago, and one of its unique features is sensors embedded into the bezel rather than the surface itself. Different from other touch screen devices, this one allows for “brighter image and greater durability.” The technology also does not require any recalibration after extended use.

Reports indicated that the first multi-touch display LCD by Albatron will measure 21.5 inches with full HD capabilities. Its display will also support 120Hz and have DVI and VGA inputs. It can have a maximum of 120 refreshes per second, 20% higher than most touch monitors.
